there's like, so much going on

oh hey, how are ya ;)

things going on that may or may not concern you, blog-o-sphere:

- got the lovely "valentype" initial piece above from some awesome guy for valentine's day...figuring out where to hang it still. buy yours, once House gets them back in stock.

- caving in, getting internet at my apartment tomorrow!* I am excited/halfway disappointed that I didn't make it through my whole lease without it. I was really trying, but it's getting counter-productive. no cable still though, so at least I'm proud of that.

- on the hunt for a scanner*, I need one desperately (see below)

- prepping for a spring show in april at the jefferson studio in tremont. lots of new art* to make, lots to do! I mean seriously WHERE did february go? I don't have a lot of time.

- watching tons of gossip girl to get caught up for the season 3 return on march 8th. O M F G it's gonna be big. watching the bachelor too (I know, shoot me) but it's like, so bad it's good.

- work is busy (which is good) and I love pretty much everything I'm doing. it's something exciting when your job includes actually sketching and not just drawing thumbnails or concepts. trend watching/forecasting is another highlight.

- cooking a lot. making yummy meals. putting on my winter padding (but trying to shed it with the purchase/motivation of a yoga mat)

- keeping up with my new year's resolution (never really do these but I wanted to accomplish something fun this year) of reading one book per month. february's book: The New Kings of Nonfiction, ed. by Ira Glass. enjoying it a lot, and it's a series of short prose so I can pick it up whenever.

- eating dove chocolates. who's a fan? they taste great, but I always eat more just so I can unwrap them and read the messages. they had to have known this would happen...what a great business plan.
